NEW LISKEARD, Ontario, May 5, 2006 - Timmins Kenworth has opened a new full-service facility in New Liskeard, Ontario, to further enhance its service to customers.
A member of Kenworth's dealer network of nearly 300 locations in Canada and the United States, New Liskeard Kenworth is a state-of-the-art, 16,300 square-foot facility with four service bays, including two full-service pits and one bay dedicated to Kenworth PremierCare® ExpressLube service, customer lounge, spacious retail parts department, and comfortable, indoor new truck showroom.
"We're pleased to open New Liskeard Kenworth for the convenience of our customers," said Dwight Michaud, Timmins Kenworth president. "The new location puts us much closer to customers in the area, making it easier for fleets and owner-operators to purchase Kenworth trucks." The two-story facility is conveniently located off Trans-Canada Highway 11 about 140 miles southeast of the main dealership in Timmins, Ont.
"In addition, many owner-operators live in the New Liskeard area, arrive home late Friday, and have to be back on the road Sunday night," said Michaud. "They can now get their trucks serviced on Saturday until 5 p.m. in our service department without interrupting their weekday schedule."
