Default pickup???

An honest question deserves an honest answer...

There are MANY (but not all)owner/operators out there with class 8 trucks and 53' trailers who are having difficulty making money due (in part) to expenses imposed by a poor economy... what do you expect to accomplish with a 15' trailer and a pickup with a maximum towing capacity of maybe 10,000 lbs.? Perhaps your best bet would be local/regional parcel courier...

Just a thought.

Default I'm no expert...

...in this area, but the guys I see with pickups and trailers are usually hauling a car or pickup on that trailer. Try the URL below and click on jobs. In addition, you could try a web search for car transporters, auto transporters, etc. BOL

Default Truck and trailer

You can get several hauling jobs with just your truck and trailer. You can get long haul or even local,(hot shots)
Just get on the sites that broker loads or get and inside source. There are companies that need a short load hauled to places.I have hauled a single pallet of stone 60 miles and made 100 bucks, and I went through a broker who had his cut..

Default An idea

with advice thrown in ---WHAT A DEAL!!!
Sell the 15 footer--too short. Try Farm Service supply in Marengo IL. They use owner-op's with hotshot trlrs. usually 48 footers. They haul grain bins broken down in bundles and insulation board--you know the styrofoam type. Also, they haul pvc pipe around the country. Give it a try. Hope I helped. Another hot shot outfit that I know of is Cardinal and Jones Motor.
