Lounge Improvements!

Hi all!

Today we implemented a few changes to the lounge software that should speed up page loading and searching by over 100%! The same changes were made to our USENET newsgroups. Enjoy!

encountered was last night when I tried to use the lite chat interface. For some reason it locked up my computer.....rebooted and went in the regular one and it was fine.

when I read the title to the thread. I figured someone was suggesting they get rid of that abrasive ******* known as wallyg8tor!

tonight it's even worse! I get in and type 2 times and it freezes.

When you said 'lounge improvements', I was hoping for a wide-screen t.v. or maybe new furniture. This chair I've been sitting in is the pits! Maybe next time? *looks hopeful*

Are you having the same trouble with the standard interface?

On the road I use my Sony Windows laptop with explorer as my browser ... NEVER go to Layover.com, it just takes to fricking long. At home I have a G4 Mac and..... well just let "Skippy", your bonehead webmaster, show you what happens when you have a Mac system using Netscape Communicator.

PS: If it doesn't run right on all systems and browsers YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. I can refer you to many other websites (some much more complex) who run just fine.

Layover is always tested on the Mac platform, as well as Linux and Microsoft. I run Netscape on an iMac all the time and I do not have problems with the lounge or the site. In fact I am posting this right now from Netscape...if you are having problems you should email the big geek at Layover <a href="mailto:geek@layover.com">geek@layover.com</a>
