Default On top of the world...

..well almost. The great and powerful Horsemen, Michael and Big Joe have arrived at Kugluktuk, NWT well north of the arctic circle. We just slid in (pun intended) a couple of hours ago. The great white north has been a challenge. We have faced every obstacle imaginable..frozen lakes, frozen tundra, frozen mountains, but nothing will deter the Horsemen from delivering the goods that the mines need so well. Instead of grocery warehouse treatment we are hailed as conquering heros when we pull into camp.

We are now enjoying the warmth of the drivers quarters, a hearty hot meal, and fellowship with the best drivers in the world. Nope Frenchy is not here yet but he is expected to arrive within a couple hours..so get ready..

No one has fell thru the ice yet and we are determined to return home without a scratch which should be in the next couple weeks as the ice road hauling winds down.

Now excuse me as we drink a toast to the bravest drivers in the world (and the best) and the motherland...

Oh Canada standing tall together..we hail our flag and proudly claim the maple leaf forever..and as a courtesy to the lone "yank" driver, Oh say can you see by the dawn's early light.....

And thats the bottom line because Big Joe said so.

Big Joe, I have to take my hat off to you and Frenchy and the other guys. I certainly enjoyed my visit with you guys this past week and think I am going to try to truck with you guys next winter on the ice roads.
