VOTING

There are enough truckers, who, along with their families and friends, can make a huge difference - if they would just VOTE. All the different trucker organizations have all kinds of plans to, with OUR money, supposedly represent us, but none of them ever encourage truckers to vote. These organizations, in order to lobby for us, need to be able to show that they can back up their demands with votes, OUR VOTES, and in huge numbers. That's what makes the politicians stand up and take notice. Like NAFTA - the majority of unions took a strong stand against NAFTA, but we did nothing. If we had joined in this fight with the unions, we would have been a powerful force to be reckoned with, and NAFTA would not exist today. THINK ABOUT IT - we keep the economy moveing. Without us moving product from place to place, the consumers have nothing to buy, companies aren't making profits, etc.,etc. If we would all just stick together - first, by refusing to haul cheap freight, and especially, VOTING, we can accomplish a great deal. VOTE - VOTE - VOTE every election =BETTER PAY, BETTER JOBS, BETTER BENEFITS. WE HAVE THE POWER, WE JUST NEED TO USE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
