Default I am moving and company needs new driver

I work for a company called Rail Scale Inc and love it. however, i am moving to oregon in july and they need to replace me. we test and certify railroad scales, not freight haulers. we are out during the week and home weekends and other days during the week at times. it pays salary and per diem for food and hotels. if you live south or near indianapolis get with me and i can give more details and who to contact. i am just trying to help them get a new driver as they have been very good to me.

Howdy Pinocchio!
Welcome to Layover.

We've all heard that it's hard to find a good employee these daze.
On the flip side of the coin, in some cases it's hard to lose a good employee, and I'm thinkin' that's the case with your present employer. I doubt many would make any effort to find their own replacement thereby saving the company the task of finding your replacement.

For all that are now involved as well as those who may become involved, I wish y'all the best of success. Your description of the job duties sounds like it could easily be a dream gig for the right person.
I hope you find that person quickly.
Now that you've found us here, it would be nice if you stuck around for awhile to let us know how things are goin' for you.
Do you already have a job lined up in Oregon?

I'm sorry to learn of your family's loss Pinocchio. Your willingness to come to their aid certainly must bring your sister and mother some comfort and reassurance. I pray that things will work out favorably.

Have you posted your message anywhere other than here at Layover?
The main reason that I ask is that this site isn't very active these days, and I think your message would benefit by more exposure to more posters. If you haven't already done so, I suggest you try posting at
www.thetruckersreport.com. --- a much more active website. Log in and introduce yourself to thousands of readers. Tell 'em AfterShock (that's me) recommended that you give TTR a chance to be of assistance in locating another driver for your employer as well as yourself if, and when, you seek another Big truck truck drivin' job in Oregon.

The Trucker's Report has recently up-dated their website, but the glitches associated with changes like that seem to be under control and/or eliminated. Actually the switch-over went very smoothly for the posting members. If you decide to use TTR for research, or just for casual reading to stay up to date with the Big truck truckin' industry, I highly recommend that you prepare a snack prior to beginning to read. There's a lot there to digest, --- along with your snack.

It would be much appreciated if you would keep us informed. What you're doing is a stand-up thing. I'm thinkin' under similar conditions many would remain seated.
Best wishes to you and your family.

I moved from Indpls. to Oregon for a year and now in Arkansas. What part of Oregon are you moving to. I had a decent job there.
