My wife and I were in an accident in our truck in Illinois on Aug 16,2012.She was issued 3 tickets. One for following to close and 2 others .The other 2 tickets were dropped and she paid the fine on the following to close. Our company took two weeks to get police and ins reports then fired her.
I have been trying to get us jobs as a team again with most all of the regular team companys but they all say no work with the accd on her license
for at least 3 yrs some even said 5 yrs.I have been out here on the road for 35 yrs and never had a rear end collision, my wife has been driving 15 yrs with no accidents or tickets. She has one accd with no injurys and shes out for 3 yrs AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE.Any body have any ideas?

CSA has everyone scared to death... Sorry, but she is screwed.
Mistake #1 was paying the ticket and not fighting it in court... to at least a lesser charge.

Buy your own truck and get your own authority if your that gunho to drive with your wife.

Try a o/o or small company.

I'm curious as to what the 2 tickets that were dropped where? Maybe it would have been better to have accepted one of them and fought hard to have this 1 thrown out?
A moving violation always needs to be diputed.
We started fighting all tickets when CSA was 1st intitiated. It really has saved our bacon.
I have also found that my carrier has zero tolerance for things like following to close, speeding tickets in construction zones and the like
