I've noticed that Blacksheepdawg is posting again after a lengthy absence. Layover is a better place now that the "Dawg" has returned.

I haven't had the pleasure of speaking one on one with this most highly respected poster but let me say welcome back and God bless my friend.

I was trying to remember (memory, second thang to go
don'cha know) how long I've been a pain in the, ....... uhhhhh
I mean a poster here at Layover and how many years some of us have known each other.

Layover was the first place I posted, once I figured out how to do it. And I remember the OS for that computer was Windows Me, so I'm thinkin' it was around 2001, or maybe 2002. That'd be around 7 or 8 years.

It seems like only last week ol' Big Joe was yellin' at me and we were about to lock horns. Until I realized he was right. Big Joe schooled me then, and he continues to do so on a regular basis to this day. And, to my knowledge he's been pretty much right the whole time.

When asked what you ever got out of Layover, I bet your story just about tops them all. It's not every day a guy can score a hit with a missus. I thought that was too cool. Especially one so bright and well spoken ---- judging by her writing and wittiness.

Wantabe, we haven't had a lot of opportunity to converse, but I hope to correct that in the future. I've enjoyed your posts and think you're an attribute to Layover. What we need are a bunch more like you to get this site rockin' again.

Ike ----- from the word 'go', your posts have been some of the most well presented I've ever read ANYwhere on the internet. When I wore the clothes of a younger poster, I recall looking forward to reading your posts, complete with links for better understanding. Nothing has changed there. I still look forward to your posts.

Now, when I understood, I didn't always agree with you, but you present yourself and your opinion(s) so well, ........ I like you anyway.

My pet peeve with you was when you'd opine that nothing you ever said here ever changed a mind.

You HAVE changed, at least, one mind at times. Mine.
And that's no easy task.
All it takes is the truth though.
I don't argue with the truth when it's served.

GG said she started posting in the 1997 - 98 time frame. And I first posted around 2000.
She has not posted for a while. She is busy with a job that does not involve trucking and
has been working on getting her BS or is that a BA degree at an online college. That
is right, she would be going for the BS degree if she were still in trucking.
