I think part of your problem is that you know nothing about reading comprehension, law enforcement and certainly don't understand the meaning of "racial profiling."

"Profiling" isn't mentioned anywhere in your original link but it sounds like the Chicago police are deploying the troops based on data analysis and criminal intelligence. They've figured out that the increase in homicides might be gang related and will deploy more assets in the neighborhoods frequented by gangs. Du uh!

It's no different that deploying more traffic cops in an area with a dramatic increase in traffic fatalities or more beat cops in an area with an increase in nighttime residential burglaries, etc, etc. Ask your (mythical) kid who is supposedly a cop (and probably lives on a houseboat too).

I don't know who "your goodbuddy" is (check behind you) but Ghost's point about cops profiling is right on the money. Some cops are as bigoted as you are, but there is a difference between situational awareness, good police work and simply rousting someone needlessly because of their skin color... No, I don't expect you to understand that since you couldn't understand and explain your original link.

The term "racial profiling" is a new word used since 1980.

It apparently is not found in the Merriam Webster or Encyclopedia Britannica Dictionaries.

The cops data analysis reveals Negroes are more likely, per capita, to be involved in crime so they selected certain neighborhoods where ALL citizens of the hood based on their color, are subjected to RACIAL PROFILING, hoping to identify law breakers among them and take the guilty ones through the legal process.

We're talking about the guy who posted 5 times on this thread and still can't figure out what racial profiling is. I think he's redefining stupidity one post at a time. I also think your remarks give too much credit to a person who views the world through the bottom of a bottle and thinks that the Neocons are still a power in DC.

There are several genuine issues (taxation, healthcare and the "Ryan budget" insanity top my list) being batted around that will have long range impact on American families, but the morons are focused on bullsh!t wedge issues. Color their grand-kids phucked. Poetic justice.
