Default What I need....

So I have 5 yrs driving exp throughout 48 states.

I need a training school to get my CDL back but I'm hoping to find one that's free. I did speak w England but they only allow riders if you're leasing a truck.

I need a company that will allow me to be a company driver with a rider (my daughter).

I previously drove for Digby leased to Swift and Interstate Distributor Company.

Any suggestions??

I'm sure it would come as a huge shock that England would deceive potential driver candidates, but according to their own web site, and all the others I've seen on which they advertise, they do have a family rider policy, and a “liberal” one at that – at least according to them. I guess the catch is that you have to bend over and take one of their l/p scams, and they probably get a few lame brains every year to sign up for that very reason.

Anyway, since you have a background with Swift/Digby/Interstate, have you tried them? There are also other companies which have schools, and that info is all there for the Googling.

One word about “free” schooling – ainnosuchathang. Unless you can get a state grant, one way or another, you're paying with either money or time or both. Wouldn't a refresher course (most schools offer them now, and they are a lot cheaper than full blown school) be good enough for one with your experience to pass the CDL test?

How recent is your experience and what does your driving record look like? PM me. I deal with many companies.

Recruiters are no longer allowed on the website. If you wish to make contact with a driver looking for work, please private message them or refer them to application found on Layover and a recruiter will contact them.

Thanks.
