The recaptcha I think does a better job, although it does appear people are getting around it. I tried disabling BB code for new members, but that doesn't seem to work either. I tried a different type of verification (question/answer), we'll see if that does any better.

Some of these accounts might also have been registered before the recent update. Make sure when you delete the posts that you ban the user as well.
