Working at Werner

Hi, I'm thinking of going to work for Werner. In 2001, I had three months OTR with Schneider. They had good training, but their driver managers where ignorant. I then went to Swift and did the 4x4 program for three months. The guy they stuck me with knew nothing except to shift gears and keep it between the lines and it ended badly. These two experiences were bad enough to make me get out of it for a time.
I'm thinking of getting back into it, but I don't want to make the same mistake as before. I like the computerized log thing, I think.
I'd like to hear from some female Werner drivers (experienced please-not steering wheel holders)or male drivers who are not threatened by the entire idea of female drivers, preferably Werner drivers. I'm not playing games and am only seeking the truth-not a sales game. Thanks for your advice in advance.

I went to Werner and I will say that i was very impressed but the thing is that you still have to keep a copy of the paper logs for law enforcement but I'm still fresh to the industry too i just got my licence back in October so the only thing that i can say is to do research before you make this major decision the main thing I'm looking for is just to start off with 28 cents per mile and how quick i can have a passenger along. but thats my real advice

Hi, Thanks for your input. Just poking around. On another page I got a lot of negative about Werner. I guess I'd better do some more research before I go this route. Thanks again.
