Laid Over in Missouri?

I-44 - Exit 100
Go south off ramp, farm supply store on left - truck parking with various services within walking distance:

  • Computer Repair Shop
  • Cingular Phone Store
  • Hallmark Card Shop
  • McDonalds
  • Pharmacy
  • Convenience store
  • Radio Shack
  • There are several other restaurants within a block walking distance

Go north off of the ramp, Tiny's Barbeque is directly ahead with truck parking.

Go north off of the ramp to Light, go left - Wal-Mart Supercenter on the left, about 1/2 mile, use 2nd entrance - they do allow truck parking and there are several other businesses within walking distance.

I-44 exit 77
Go south off of the ramp on the right - Wal-Mart Supercenter, truck parking, shopping center and several restaurants in the area.

Several attractions in area - none are really truck accessible.

Bass Pro's main store is located at Sunshine and Campbell in Springfield with bobtail parking available on the south side of the store. Wonders of Wildlife museum on Bass Pro's Parking lot.

Fantastic Caverns located north of Springfield about 10 miles, but cannot access with tractor/trailer.

Springfield has several trucking companies and is fairly truck friendly. Very few places you cannot bob tail.

Exit 80 (Glenstone) go south, main shopping area and mall will be found down this street about 5-8 miles. Bobtails permitted to park where there's room. No real parking for trailers though.
