Tankers are rounded trailers that carry all kinds of liquids from milk to fuel to chemicals. Food grade tankers require washing and attention to cleanliness. Flammables and hazardous materials require careful handling, and trailers may have special nozzles, hoses and gauges. The moving liquid in the tank affects driving as it shifts with turning and braking. A tanker driver has to know how to safely handle his product, and may have to follow strict instructions from the carrier for loading and unloading procedures.
