WEST CHESTER, PA,  - A. Duie Pyle, a leading Northeast transportation and logistics provider, received PPG Industries' Excellent Supplier Award for superior accomplishments in 2007.  The carrier is the only distribution resource provider to receive the prestigious award from PPG three times. 

Kathleen McGuire, PPG vice president, corporate purchasing and distribution, presented the Excellent Supplier Award trophy made of PPG glass to A. Duie Pyle President Steve O'Kane at a recent ceremony in Pittsburgh, PA.  "As one of our key suppliers for transportation services, A. Duie Pyle was an outstanding performer," McGuire said. "Their quality, service, delivery, documentation, and innovation have been exceptional." 

The transportation company is one of only eight suppliers honored by the $11.2 billion global manufacturer of paints, coatings, chemicals, optical products, specialty materials, glass, and fiber glass. A. Duie Pyle provides transportation services to PPG's architectural, refinish, automotive OEM, and industrial coatings businesses, as well as to its flat glass and performance glazings unit in the United States. 

PPG's McGuire said A. Duie Pyle has provided outstanding service and value.
