ELM MOTT, TEX.  Central Texas Retreading of Elm Mott, Texas announced today that it will install an Oliver Rubber retreading facility that will begin making Oliver® brand commercial retreads on June 15, 2008.

Todd Calandra, the president of Central Texas Retreading, said," Oliver was our choice in retreading because we could install an efficient shop at a reasonable cost and produce the highest quality retreads.  As an Oliver retreader, you also are able to serve a market area that is not overcrowded with other Oliver dealers. Our plan is to sell Oliver retreads from as far north as Dallas and as far south as San Antonio."

Bill Guzick, president of Oliver Rubber Co., said, "We are delighted that Central Texas, which has been a very service oriented supplier of MegaMile retreads, has decided to join the Oliver brand family of retreaders.  Our goal is to work together to provide the best quality commercial retreads and service throughout the Central Texas region."

Oliver Rubber Company has sold retread rubber products and equipment since 1912. It sells retread rubber under the Oliver and MegaMile® brands for commercial, industrial and OTR tires.  Oliver Rubber has a network of Oliver brand licensees throughout North America. It operates a retread rubber production facility in Asheboro, N.C. and a retread equipment division in Salisbury, N.C.  The company, headquartered in Greenville, S.C., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Michelin North America, Inc.
