Nascar fans shared an opportunity to meet one of stock car racing's living legends today as Richard Petty made a pit stop at the Pilot Flying J booth at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky.

Also on hand was Michael Annett who was recently injured in last month's season-opener at Daytona Beach, Florida. Annett, driver of  the Richard Petty Motorsports car, suffered a fractured sternum in the accident.

Richard Petty Motorsports expanded in early 2012 from fielding two teams in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition, to the addition of a full-time NASCAR Nationwide Series team with driver Annett and partner Pilot Flying J Travel Centers.

Petty is the most decorated driver in the history of NASCAR racing, winning a record 200 races and seven NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championships during his career.

Petty and Annett were both on hand between 2-3 pm to visit with fans and to sign autographs as Donna Smith of Trucking Social Media provided the photos for the Tampa Bay Trucking Examiner.
