(Tacoma, Wash.) – Interstate Distributor Co. recently announced that Marc Rogers, who joined the company from Schneider National, headquartered in Green Bay, Wis., had been named president and CEO. Rogers says that he’s always had a passion for the wellbeing and success of drivers and is excited about Interstate’s new opportunities for driving professionals.
“We will maintain a culture where our driving associates and independent contractors are treated like family,” Rogers said. “We’re adding great jobs with consistent miles, increasing home-time options and bringing in new 2012 equipment for drivers.”
Interstate launched two new regional operating centers earlier this year. The company now offers regional runs servicing the 11-Western, US East, Mid-West, and Mid-Atlantic areas. These regional runs are open to Company Drivers and Independent Carriers running within the Power Only division.
Interstate Distributor Co. still offers refrigerated and dedicated opportunities for solo drivers and transcontinental opportunities for teams. Interstate Distributor Co. partners with Owner Operators / Independent Carriers to build their businesses through our Power Only program. Contract Carriers tired of leases or broker boards can operate under their own authority and build their own business while not having the headaches of finding freight or back office paperwork. Power Only allows Contract Carriers to benefit from consistent customer freight (no broker boards) sold by Interstates’ national sales force and Fortune 500 Customers while sharing a percentage of gross revenue and 100% of the Fuel Surcharge.
