Tamppari will be responsible for managing the field service organization and contracts administration for Thermo King’s transit, shuttle and coach businesses.
Hired by Thermo King’s parent company in 1994, Tamppari holds a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He transferred to Thermo King’s Hastings manufacturing facility in 1996 as a manufacturing engineer and environmental control officer. He has held positions of increasing responsibility including design engineering and field service manager. Neil’s most recent position was technical service manager, Western Region including Mexico and Central America.
Thermo King Corporation, a business unit of diversified industrial firm Ingersoll-Rand Company Limited, was founded in 1938 and manufactures transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications, including trailers, truck bodies, buses, shipboard containers and railway cars.
